Pipe Making: Drilling Vulcanite rod for a Briar Pipe Stem

Drilling a vulcanite rod for a briar smoking pipe stem. This is done on a small Taig metal lathe. This, and the other videos on my channel, was made as supplemental material for the written pipe making instruction on my website: www.tylerlanepipes.com. I made these videos seven or eight years ago, and they don't represent my current methods very well. Hopefully though, new and aspiring pipe makers will find some beneficial pointers.
