***IF USING COLORED PIPE CLEANERS REMOVE ALL LOOSE FIBERS BEFORE FIRST USE OR JUST USE A DARK COLOR*** PLEASE USE END PAPERS TO PROTECT YOUR ENDS!! I modified pipe cleaner rollers by adding color and making them sturdy. Fellow utubers cautioned about those sharp ends so I added tape to the ends as protection. If any of you can think of something better than duct tape please share it with us all!! The cost to make was $3.25 for the duct tape and $1 pack of 45 pipe cleaners . I was able to get more than enough rollers making the medium size. I definately got my monies worth!! Small rollers work great with short locs or to roll your ends. Long rollers are for spiral curls. Medium rollers are perfect for medium length locs. Spirals can be created with this size as well. Pipe cleaner rollers can be used on any type of hair, I just happen to have locs : )
